Personal Business Development (PBD) assists the client in areas of personal growth and development using a variety of techniques that have been successful in enhancing human potential.  Sessions and techniques are individualized to client needs.  Sessions are a collaboration with the client, meaning that in order to make positive changes, both parties must fully participate.

Personal Coaching for Health and Well-Being

Most humans want to make the most of life.  We want health, good realtionships, abundance and more.  To get what we want, we often need to make changes in our behaviors.  Personal coaching has been shown to be effective in making behavioral changes.

After completing a detailed assessment of the areas you'd like to enhance in your life, you and your coach will formulate a personalized strategy for helping you acheive your goals.  This generally includes use of a comprehensive web-based set of tools for tracking progress, problem-solving challenges and providing frequent feedback and informtion. In addition to on-line coaching, teleconference sessions and/or personal sessions are used. 

Lifestyle changes, if we are serious about making them, challenge us to confront things about our selves and our behavior patterns.  Part of the process is learning how to deal with setbacks in a resourceful way that ultimately moves us forward toward the goal. The reward is that effectively working through setbacks and managing challenges gives us new tools and moves us forward. Coaching is a co-active process for helping you meet challenges, create strategies and plans that will work for you to stay on track, moving toward your goals.

The keys to making such changes successfully are:  1. Clearing negative emotions and limiting beliefs. 2. Taking action (which means also taking responsibility for not taking action and removing obstacles to action), and 3. Focusing on/committing to what you want.

The purpose of our programs is to assist the client with key # 1 and to provide support, help identify issues and work co-actively with you to find solutions and create plans for taking action to facilitate your work on key # 2. This takes many forms, a number of which are geared toward helping clients become more aware of unconscious programming around behaviors they want to change or goals they want to achieve.  The next steps are to translate the internal changes into external actions.  Progress between sessions occurs when the client implements the actions that are discussed and takes responsibility for doing what is needed as well as working on focus and commitment to the goal.

Time Line Therapy™ Techniques

Time Line Therapy™ techniques are a revolutionary set of methods developed by Tad James, M.S., Ph.D. which allow for the quick and easy release of negative emotions and limiting beliefs.  

Just think:  What would my life be like if I wasn't angry, sad, guilty or fearful about certain things?  What if I didn't feel that I couldn't get what I want in my life?  What if I could get rid of decisions that keep me from getting what I want?

Positive and negative experiences, and the emotions connected to them, are stored as chains of events according to time by our unconscious mind.  Time Line Therapy™ techniques allow the client to separate and release the emotion from the event(s) while retaining whatever they needed to learn from the event(s). This "breaks the chain" of negative emotions and unwanted behaviors that sometimes go with those emotions. 

Time Line Therapy™ techniques also allow the client to release beliefs that may be inhibiting their success. Beliefs such as "I'm not good enough for.....", "Good relationships aren't possible for me......"  "I'll never get that promotion....."   CAN be resolved and removed, empowering the client to achieve their potential!

After removing such emotions and beliefs, clients are able to move forward and create the behaviors and futures that empower them. Time Line Therapy™ techniques can be used to develop specific future goals for success in all aspects of life.  Time Line Therapy™ techniques are used as appropriate with other NLP and hypnosis techniques according to individual needs.

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

Hypnosis

Hypnosis is probably as old as humankind.  Every 90 seconds we naturally go into a light hypnotic state.  Hypnosis a valuable, but often misunderstood, technique for allowing clients to work productively with their unconscious mind. Our Unconscious Mind is what keeps us breathing, our digestive system working, our limbs moving, blood flowing and on and on..........all without our conscious awareness.  It is also what keeps us in the same old habits!  Hypnosis and trance are used work with our Unconscious Mind so we can more effectively learn, change unwanted behaviors and create our future.   

During hypnosis, the client is conscious and in total control at all times.  All hypnosis is under the control of the client.......it really is "self" hypnosis!  Trance is a normal phenomenon in all of us. It is just a state of deep relaxation.......that state right before you are fully awake or as you are drifting off to sleep when you are aware of what is going on, but really can't be bothered to react to things.......... Hypnosis is a way using our unconsious mind to learn, change and grow in positive ways.

PBD uses the best of coach approaches, traditional hypnosis, NLP and Time Line Therapy™ techniques to assist clients in meeting their goals.
